Safe Inside Your Arms

After listening to a song, it made me reflect a little on my struggles to walk with Christ. Here was the outcome.

Safe Inside Your Arms

I try to walk
Down Your road,
When falling on my face.
Remembering,
Looking up,
I’m showered in Your grace.

When I go
To move ahead,
Ahead from all their harms.
I seem to go
The other way
And fall into their charms.

When I waltz
Back to You,
Back to the very same place,
I’m greeted with
Your endless love
In which I long to embrace

I trip and fall
On the way
Right into their farm.
You pick me up
Keep me safe—
Safe inside your arms.

  1. Thanks.

I was not sure how well it would turn out because I decided to use a way different rhyme scheme than I normally use.
