While checking my e mail this morning, I came across this verse (I get updates from a Christian question Site.).
James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
I liked this verse because, I seem to keep getting all the brown spots of grass and bumpy spots in my meadow to eat. People say that the grass is greener on the "other side." Maybe God gave me this bumpy brown meadow so I can fall 100 + times without complaining, then turning around and eating dry and yucky grass and chocking 100 + times without complaining, all to build a little patience. Maybe, just maybe once I learned to do the hard things (just had to throw that in there :) I'll have enough patience to start plowing down those bumps. Then having enough patience to start nourishing the grass, like pull weeds, water (even if that meant I use my kitchen sink and a pot.), shading it (since it is dry, it is probably getting to much sun.), and what ever else plants needs to survive (I'm not an actual planter, I do not even know how to. So I do not know. LOL.).
I like the way you think! (of course, your parable is farming-related, so I really connect with it-lol!)
