My road has come to be smoother, but foggy.
I've not hit any road kill as of yet though :P I recently started a ladies youth bible study. I have only read 2 chapters, and already I have felt relief, guilt, and remorse. I look forward to where this road will take me, hopefully off this foggy road onto a road surrounded with beautiful scenery.
When I get to this road, my hope is that all the fog will evaporate in the exquisite, clear beauty that surrounds me. This road shall lead me on an adventure I have yet been on before. This road will be new life, new hopes, unto a clear and worry less future.
With God in the driver's seat, I know this can be possible. With me being the "back seat driver," It will make it very challenging and longer.
whoa ~ cool background. Way to do the hard things and post your answers 1st! I'm excited to see what God has in store for you down your road :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mrs. Becky! I am not sure what background you were referring to. I changed it a couple times while I was playing around with the settings. :)
ReplyDeleteOk, first...I LOVE your current blog layout...AWESOME!!! Second, you are not alone...we all have regrets and remorse. When I look back on my past, it seems like a different person that did some of the things I did...I don't even recognize the person I was then. The beauty is even though I recall those shameful memories in Hi-Def clarity, Psalms 103:12 assures us that "as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." On the days that Satan is whispering words of doubt in my ear, I cling fast to that verse. If you've ever heard the song "East to West" by Casting Crowns, it sums it up perfectly ...it is one of my favorites. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyoVJfADlwo
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting that. AT least I am not alone.... I love that song! It is one of my favorites :D
