Well it's probably no surprise to any of you that I no nothing about animals, the country life or farm stuff in general! But even not knowing anything about any of that, I want to get away from town and out there some day. It seems so peaceful. I know it is a lot of work, but at the same time, it seems rewarding....
Anyway... I was over my friends house, and I got to hold their baby lamb!!! He was SOOOO Cute. I was afraid his momma was going to come and get me at one point. He would "bahhh," then she would "bahhh," then she would run up and behind me. But I am still alive.. or at least I think I am :P
Yes, we all know how much you know about animals. :D (especially chickens, I still get a laugh about that one :D ) we still like you though!

Chickens??? I do not think I follow...
ReplyDeleteThe real test of farm life is if you stepped in any poo :) ha ha ha ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteI did not... I wore my old shoes encase I did though :D You do not need to live on a farm to experience that, you just need to have a sibling with a dog... :/
ReplyDeleteRemember the time when the youth came over to our house last year and some how we got on the subject of farms and you said that you didn't know how a hen lays an egg, you though that you had to pull it out. we all had a pretty good laugh over that then we tried to explane that the hen lays it while laughing so hard some of us were crying. So there's the story, and it would get pretty messy to pull an egg out of 90,000 hens about two times a day which is a total of about 86,000 eggs a day!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't like that job!
Yep, you're still standing and none the worse for the experience :) Mama sheep aren't the ones you need to worry about...it's the daddy sheep you have to watch...they didn't come to be called "rams" by accident! ;) I hope you have your house in the country some day! I tend to think the stars are brighter in the country...but then again I am a little partial ;)
ReplyDeleteKeri, I remember now. :P I did not know... I know now... LOL. And on that time I meant what happens if it got stuck, how do they lay eggs if it gets stuck somehow. Does somebody have to go and pull them out... Well I guess they do not get stuck very often LOL. I do not even remember how we even got on that topic. I have a very strange mind, I know. :D
ReplyDeleteMrs. Vicki, I know the stars are brighter, and lots more too!!! I did not even know we did not have very many in Hanover until I spent a week end in the country a couple weeks ago. There were millions. When I was younger, I liveed in MD, so there was hardly any stars at all. So Hanover is full of them compared to where I used to live. Then I saw the country, then I was like... I just could not believe it. I was outside just stairing for a while because I had never seen so many, and so bright! It was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Like I'n not even kidding...
And if Matthew Ogg ever read my blog, he probably be counting up how many "likes" I put in my posts!.. You people from youth will get that.
Yep, it's the "light pollution" from the towns and cities that make it seem like the stars are fewer and not as bright. I am told that in Montana, the stars look incredible in the night sky, because there is no light pollution. I wouldn't mind seeing for myself someday. I guess I'll have to add it to my "bucket list"-lol :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I guess that makes sense. That would be amazing seing it some day too. I just hope that the light polution does not does not change there before I can see them!
ReplyDeleteI held a baby lamb when I was like idk 8 or 9, it was toooo cuteeee <3 <3
