Your Love

Someone mentioned how we would express God's love the other day-- like give examples. I have been thinking about that ever sense. It was way harder to express than I thought. I don't know why though, because I know God is wonderful and awesome. It is just so hard to put into words. Here is what I came up with, but I am not satisfied with it. I do not believe I fully got everything on my heart out.. But here it is...

 Your Love


"Ocean depths, mountain ranges, 
River valleys, starry spaces, "
that's what I think of when
I think of Your love--
Your love towards men. 

I think of when birds fly, 
High above the sky, 
They do not worry about the hour.
Not even for food or living,
Even they know Your power!

I wish I could love in that way
To even care about the birds that sway.
I thank you, Lord, for being You.
You love so much;
You show it, in everything You do.

I could sit and write all day 
In how I love you every way.
But even if I thought I must
My words wouldn't even compare
In Your great and holy love towards us.

So then I'll write, the best I can,
To tell of Your love towards man.
But in the end, it is still unfathomable!
To completely understand your love towards us
Would be truly, truly, magical.
